I did this drawing entirely from memory, depicting London and the Thames seen from Westminster bridge towards the north. If you look carefully, you can recognise parliament, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden etc, etc.
Fine-liner on paper, 60x80 cm, 27"x37"

Indeed, it's all done from memory, in three days.
hmmm i've heard of an authist in italy (?i guess?)
ha had the same "ability", i saw a couple of his pictures (rome) all were done from memory
he even painted michelangelo's cupola correct (numbers of arcades etc.)

but he only used penciles ^^
