This city truly exists, it's Liège in Belgium, a coal and steel town some 60 miles south from where I live.
50x65 cm pen and ink on paper. It's the first full size drawing you can see here. Sorry for the bad quality.

man you were gona give me a heart attack. i just love cities. i used to draw all these imaginary maps of cities i invent.. something likes this. great man!

I started drawing maps of imaginary cities too long time ago and later on I wanted everything in it, roads, houses, people etc. The maps became real cities!
